Rev. Emma Pipes is a passionate and caring minister, delighted to be working with the team at Kimbourne Park. Ordained in 2018, Emma brings with her visual arts degrees from Western University and a Master of Divinity, Master of Pastoral Studies from Emmanuel College. She enjoys meeting people of all ages and has a strong sense of justice for those who are oppressed, vulnerable and marginalized in our world. Her dream is that we would all work for public, intentional and explicit welcome to each other and affirm each other along the way. It is her dream to live in a world where structures and systems of oppression are questioned and brought down. She strives to be genuine in her faith by offering a hopeful yet realistic interpretation of religious past, present and future.

Emma has a passion for art, music, social justice, advocacy and meeting new people. She appreciates when people work to create spaces of equity, vulnerability and peace with a focus on spiritual harmony. Emma spends her spare time singing, drawing, enjoying God’s creation, eating sushi, and spending time with family and loved ones.

Emma enjoys being an alumni of the Student Christian Movement and you can also find her at camp in May annually, helping at the SCM Cahoots: Festival of Faith, Justice & DIY(Do It Yourself Activities) cahootsfest.ca She loves this because it is like God's mini Kin-dom.
