  • Weekly Garden Together

    Garden Volunteers Needed!

    Garden@Kimbourne hosts weekly Garden Together sessions on Wednesday evenings from 6-8 pm and Sunday afternoons from noon-2:30 pm.

    Experienced and first-time gardeners welcome.

    We're growing food and community through permaculture with more than half of food grown going to local feedback and the rest shared with our garden volunteers.

  • August: Worship in the Garden

    During the month of August we will be sharing in worship outside. Feel free to bring a lawnchair, blanket and sun hat. We sit in a circle together and enjoy the Summer breeze.

    During summer worship we reflect on the scripture first with the leader and then we reflect on a couple questions with each other as a group. Everyone is welcome to speak or just to listen.

    There is no service on Aug 31.

  • Aug 8: Summer Clean UP Work Bee!

    Spring cleaning move aside, we are doing Summer cleaning! Are you looking for a way to give back to the community? Need volunteer hours?

    Contact us to sign up for our summer clean up day. portia@kpuc.org

    We will feed you pizza lunch and we will get the church ready for the fall!

  • Aug 9 : Games Night

    A fun evening of board games for the whole family!

    5pm-10pm - (Second Saturday of every month)

    Bring a game and/or some munchies. Free and open to everyone. Food is available for a nominal charge.

    Cribbage? Catan? Catch Phrase? Apples to Apples? Whatever suits your fancy, we've got the game and the people to play it with. Or bring your own!

  • Aug 17: Community Meal

    Every 3rd Sunday of the Month: This coming July meal will be another fabulous barbecue! We are once again offering a free summer meal for our community take out meal.

    We have both meat and vegetarian options. Our burgers are also halal.

    We are offering takeout only, but we do have a few tables set up to eat at if you wish to!

We believe in throwing our doors wide open.

If you are someone who has more to give and would like to support our dreams and hopes for future programs we would always appreciate your kind donations. We also would be happy to issue a tax receipt, please make sure we have your information.
