Megan has an adult daughter (Jessie) who is a talented artist.
She is community minded, and is deeply rooted in and passionate about East End Toronto & it’s community spirit. She’s outgoing, a people person and is enthusiastically community-minded.
She has extensive work experience in office management/administrative capacity, and is quite familiar with juggling many spinning plates. She happily goes the extra mile in order to advance the mission and vision of KPUC.
Megan has worked on many successful fundraising projects, both for food banks and around conquering Covid-19. She was known by the community as the ‘Egg Carton Lady’ – after initiating a project to collect egg cartons to distribute to local food banks to help them provide eggs to their food bank clients to carry home.
She is also passionate about animals, having fostered 65+ orphan animals voluntarily in her home – including palliative care. Currently, she does pet sitting, with pet clients who are very much considered as a part of her family.
In her spare time, she enjoys yoga, volunteering, live bands/music, dancing, hosting events, baking, spending time with friends and traveling.
Megan believes that churches should be examples of integrity in their communities and to the world.
