Judith Soo
Soloist
Soprano Judith Soo maintains a busy schedule as a soloist and choral singer in Toronto Area with chorale groups such as Pax Christi Chorale, York University Chamber Choir & Cantabile Chamber Singers.
Her operatic roles include Second Spirit in The Magic Flute, Clara in Vanessa with Summer Opera Lyric Theatre; Mrs. Gobineau in The Medium with Opera by Request; Suor Dolcina in Suor Angelica with ArtBel Production and First Spirit in The Magic Flute with Confidential Opera Project.
In 2017, Ms. Soo sang the role of Papagena in The Magic Flute with Toronto Summer Opera program.
In 2014/15, Ms. Soo performed with Pax Christi Chorale, under the baton of Stephanie Martin, The Judith Project, Sir Hubert Parry’s 1888 Oratorio JUDITH, at Koerner Hall, Toronto.
In 2009; Ms. Soo was one of the 13 York University Singers, to perform with New England Symphonic Ensemble, under the direction of guest director John Rutter, Mozart’s Requiem in D minor, K.626, at Carnegie Hall, in New York City.
Ms. Soo received a Specialized Honours Bachelor of Fine Arts from York University, studying voice with Coloratura soprano Norma Burrowes.
