Getting to know our building
Going to a new place can be daunting. We hope this is helpful in orienting you. Please ask if we missed anything.
Doors
On Sunday, use the Main Front Door, painted red, which will bring you into the gathering area of the sanctuary. It's at the southeast corner from the street.
During the week, use the Linkway Door (at the top of the driveway/parking area), also painted red, which will lead you down to our meeting & program spaces and offices or up to the front of the church sanctuary.
Alternatively, events in the church hall are accessed through the Ramp Door. It’s located at the bottom of the accessibility ramp at our southwest corner, and leads into the hall. There is an elevator up to the sanctuary here.
There is also a Southwest Side Door off the driveway, which we only use as a fire-escape.
Stroller Parking
Parents and caregivers, you can leave your stroller behind the hall door at the bottom of the accessibility ramp.
Accessibility
Here are the accessibility features we offer you:
There is an accessibility ramp leading to the basement, with an automatic door.
There you'll find an elevator to help you get between the basement and the main floor. Please call the church office early in the week if you need the Lift to attend Sunday Worship so that we have an “elevator fairy” on hand to operate it.
Downstairs is also where you'll find our fully-accessible main washroom.
Washrooms
Two public unisex washrooms are found in the church basement:
A single-person one at the end of the back hall, to your right;
A larger, accessible washroom with diaper-changing facilities and an additional, kid-sized toilet to the side of the large church hall.
